Workshop: Efficient writing

At this course writing tools will be introduced that will make your writing more efficient. There will also be time to write on your own text, so please bring something along that you are writing on. This can be an article, a funding application, a PhD plan, a thesis or even a more popular text. Finally we will work with storytelling and apply it to your own texts.

PROGRAM

09.00: Introduction, first writing exercise, share experiences & writing tools

10.30: Break with coffee and tea

10.45: Writing goals are shared in groups and first writing on your own text

12.00: Lunch

12.45: Different phases in writing, rhetorical reading and who is my target group

13.00: New writing goals and second writing on your own text

14.00: Break with physical movement (and coffee/tea)

14.20: Introduction to peer feedback – give each other feedback in small groups

15.40: Plan your writing: define writing goals and possibly create writing groups
